Hell in a Handbasket

I've always found those a bit interesting in a passing sort of way.

Not as interesting as, say, a Broomhandle, but still sort of cool.

No, I wouldn't personally shell out big buck for one.

A buddy of mine has a very similar gun, I'm pretty sure it's the Uberti 1873 Cattleman:

Much cheaper than the Beretta, and certainly not a piece of junk.

It's pretty sweet overall. Big fat bullets, no recoil to speak of, easy to point, accurate... I like it a whole lot. A few minor caveats, though.

You have to adopt strange shooting position because it spits fire out the front of the cylinder which will burn your hand if you hold it with a hand on the barrel.

Oh, and since your head is a few inches away from the cylinder of a revolver, your face gets minorly showered with hot bits as well.

Apart from the hot bits (and you're wearing shooting glasses anyways!) it is about as cool as it looks.
