Arthur C. Clarke died today. He was 90 years old.
Besides being a visionary science fiction writer, Clarke is also credited with coming up with the idea of the telecommunications satellite. But it his work with literature that will be remembered.

His tales filled many of my youthful days and nights. The world is much poorer for his passing.
