I've been meaning to discuss this for some time, and something occurred that just reminded me that I was slacking off.
Sevesteen posts about his experiences with one of those ultra-cheap Internet eyeglass company. His take on things? He is generally satisfied, but should have paid more attention to the dimensions of the frames before ordering.
What prompted me to finally get around to writing this post? A buddy whose insurance at work cut the optical coverage just Emailed me, asking for the URL of the eyeglass company. She should have a good experience if she is careful.

Interesting. I might have to give this a try sometime.
Although, one of the perks of my job is that I can get company-issued safety glasses (with plastic shields on the sides) made to my prescription for free!
