Kill Crazy Bank Robber Captured by CCW Licensee

You can read about it here.

It seems that a bank robber started to shoot and kill tellers, demanding money all the while. Two tellers died, two survived with wounds.

The killer was going to make his escape when his way out of the building was blocked by a customer who was legally carrying his own gun. This delayed the perp until deputies could arrive. The gunman had taken a hostage by that time, and had to be shot to be taken into custody.

He will survive, which means that he was treated with more kindness than he showed two of his victims.

I was impressed on how the CCW licensee thought things through, particularly with the way he avoided direct confrontation until he had taken cover. And I'm glad that he was there to begin with.

Steve Cox:

I really hope you were being sarcastic about arresting the CCW bearer.

What basis would you have for saying that?

James R. Rummel:

What are you talking about? I never said anything about the CCW licensee getting arrested!

Paul Keats:

I am a stock broker by trade and I am an NRA Certified instructor for Pistol, Rifle and Shotgun. I usually work with youth shooting teams at the local Izaak Walton Chapter. Maryland has some very restrictive gun laws but things are better than my former city of residence, Washington, D.C. All the wrong people have guns in D.C. but the recent court ruling will hopefully change things. Two of my sons have Virginia Concealed-Carry permits and they plan to move there. If the Maryland politicians don't stop making things miserable for gun owners, I may follow them.
