A reader sent me an Email, politely asking me if I still had an archived version of this post up somewhere after my move to the new host. All my previous content was taken down, but I did manage to back up everything before the kill switch was thrown. So here it is, recreated in all it's glory.
(Don't forget to click on every pic to see if there is a larger image behind it.)
O.K. Here is the new tactical training program but my humble advice to you is to practice at the range before you take to the street, lest you look foolish...
Images from the battle for Monrovia, Liberia, where use of iron sights is known to be strictly prohibited. Also prohibited are aiming, assuming a supported firing stance, and any common practice of marksmanship whatsoever. Hip-Hop Rapper, Gangsta shooting stances are mandatory, the "Glock Foh-Tay" hold being the most popular. lethality is achieved by subjecting the target to a wide swathe of area fire, similar to un aimed indirect artillery, or scaring the enemy away with gesturing and aggressive hip-hop style dancing while firing. Points are awarded for artistic effort, style, fearsome facial __expression/vocalizations and blue duct tape.
Note perfectly executed flamboyant sideways-rifle "Glock Foh-Tay" running stance.
Amazing height and style on this one. Sure to impress the judges!

The "bring your buddy along" firing stance.
![]()
Firing from the hip while putting on the best "Game Face" and bellowing like an Ox - note the camouflage pants! (Also note the photographer in the background taking this joker's picture. Yeah, I trust them when journalists say they only report the news and don't create it.)
![]()
The "Homeless street person" anti-aircraft firing position being executed with great precision!
![]()
Here we have a classic! The "prone Warrior " firing position - too bad the magazine spring has blown out from the bottom of his beautifully blue-duct--taped jungle magazine setup.
![]()
Here we have Liberian militia demonstrating the "Soul Train" method of combat assault. "Red Pants" must be a Zouave.
![]()
The Nautical theme is ever popular, as seen by this militiaman wearing the stylish Kapok life jacket. Won't stop a bullet, but sure looks Boo-yaa!
![]()
This pair is executing the difficult "Phat Bammer Swagger" shooting stance. Note the deceptive use of pink clam diggers and the yellow radio - he must be the RTO?
![]()
The Phat "Batman Begins" RPG firing position is new but hot.
![]()
While this appears to be a well-rehearsed combat assault maneuver, this militiaman is actually trying to keep birds from crapping on his car. Note the feather duster in the left hand for effect.
![]()
This Militiaman executes the one handed high overhead blind shot. It is often used to indicate that "Da Brizzles over there".
![]()
And last but not least, these two are showing the proper way to fire a support weapon using the non-aiming duck-walk method, keeping at least five feet of linked ammo strung out from the weapon at any given time! Note the suitably awe-struck onlookers!

I have not seen such a wonderful collection of training aids. This must be the training school for the Iraq insurgents.

Hahahaha, this is one of the most humorous gun related articles I've ever read. Great job on finding all of those pictures and with all of the captions.

I agree with the above, this isn't funny...
Obviously the people photographed are shock troops with no real training, thats not their fault.
These guys were very much the "good guys", they wanted to improve the situation in their country and instate a democracy.
Training or not, I'd say they are nothing short of heroes.

I believe they are shooting like this cause they can't aim, they don't know how.

I agree that this isn't funny at all, and i think it's ridiculous that you can laugh at this. If only you understood how real war is. You disgust me...honestly! NOT FUNNY!

Au contrare... this shows how very effective the disinformation campaign of the LAPD's "technical advisors" to hollywood film makers has been. Gangta banggers learned how to shoot by watching TV, and the TV gangsta method has gone world wide. Fortunately terrorists and insurgents don't go to Ft. Benning, Storm Mountain, Blackwater, or "down on the farm" near Williamburg, VA to learn their methods. We certainly wouldn't want our exported movies to reveal the details of combat shooting techniques which would actually work! Let them look cool, waste ammo and cause more misses per minute while creating a target rich environment for the scout snipers who learned death from afar the old fashioned way. This is the only good thing to come out of Hollywood in a long time.
